Tyrone Patrick Glass of Blackwell, Oklahoma, died Thursday morning, November 20, 2008, in the Blackwell Regional Hospital at the age of 43 years.

Tyrone Patrick Glass was born on July 2, 1965, in Blackwell, Oklahoma, to Billie Mack and JoAnn (Stout) Glass. He grew up in Blackwell attending Blackwell Public Schools. Following his education he worked in the oilfield for El Gato Company before working as a cook at Los Amigos Restaurant. He later worked as a brick mason for Walker Masonry and then Davis Sanitation in Tonkawa, Oklahoma. He enjoyed music, art and Harley-Davidson collectibles.

He is survived by his father, Bill Glass of Blackwell, Oklahoma; grandmother, Juanita Glass of Blackwell, Oklahoma; a daughter, Kaylee Myers of Blackwell, Oklahoma; five brothers, Chris Glass, Johnny Glass, Brent Glass and Levi Glass all of Blackwell, Oklahoma, and Gabe Glass of Newkirk, Oklahoma; and his companion, Christine Evans of Blackwell, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his mother; grandparents, Ransom and Ethel Stout and John Glass; and a brother, Bill Glass II.

Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 24th in the Roberts and Son Funeral Home Chapel in Blackwell with the Rev. John Jack of the House of Prayer officiating. Burial will follow in the Blackwell Cemetery.

Casketbearers will be Brent Glass, Levi Glass, Johnny Glass, Gabe Glass, Chris Glass, Steve Pierce and Bill Ray McConnell. Honorary casketbearers will be Bo Thompson, Deaner McConnell and Jimmy Burris.

A memorial has been established at the House of Prayer in c/o Roberts and Son Funeral Home.
