Tracy Wayne Allender of Blackwell, Oklahoma, died Friday, October 23, 2009, in the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas, at the age of 53 years.

Tracy Wayne Allender was born on March 31, 1956, to O. O. "Sonny" and Lois Rae (Lee) Allender. He grew up in Blackwell attending Blackwell Public Schools graduating in 1974 from Blackwell High School. He entered the United States Navy on January 19, 1977, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and served until his honorable discharge on June 12, 1978. Following his discharge he enjoyed playing music and riding his motorcycle.

He is survived by his mother, Lois Allender of Blackwell, Oklahoma; his wife, Terry Allender of Blackwell, Oklahoma; a daughter, Kimberly Snyder; a step-daughter, Ashley Jones of Stillwater, Oklahoma; two sons, Joe and John Koehler; and a granddaughter, Kherington Snyder.

He was preceded in death by his father; and a brother, Sonny Allender.

Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 27th in the First Baptist Church in Blackwell with the Rev. Matt Smith of Immanuel Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Blackwell Cemetery with military rites performed by the United States Navy.

Honorary casketbearers will be Collene Short, Darrel Whitfield, James White, Lynn Short, Wendy Sodowsky, Linda Zaitshik, Kenny Beard, Linda Beard, Sonja Short and Sheri Day. Casketbearers will be John Koehler, Joe Koehler, Brad Short, Gene Zaitshik, Alva Olmstead and Dale Fleming.
