Terry Lee Pameticky of Ponca City, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, in Ponca City, Oklahoma at the age of 81.

Terry Lee Pameticky was born on November 11, 1944, in Ponca City, Oklahoma. He was the son of Earnest and Oma (Swearingen) Pameticky. He grew up in Ponca City, attending Ponca City Public Schools, and graduating from Ponca City High School in 1962. He then furthered his education at Northern Oklahoma College, where he earned his Electrical Degree.

Following his education, he began working for Anderson Funeral Home in Ponca City. He met Connie Grace Cox, and they married on September 19, 1964, in Ponca City, where they made their home.

In 1967, Terry began work for Continental Oil Company (Conoco), as an electrician – retiring from Conoco-Phillips Refinery as Electrical Supervisor in 2002.

Following his retirement, he began working for Anderson Funeral Home in Tonkawa, Oklahoma, until 2006. In 2006, he began working for Roberts and Son Funeral Home in Blackwell, Oklahoma, working as a Funeral Attendant until 2018.

On September 21, 2019, Connie preceded him in death, and he continued to make Ponca City his home.

He enjoyed fishing and later going to Grand Lake. He was an avid fan of OSU. He loved spending time with his family, especially his great-grandchild. He enjoyed golfing and driving by golf courses. There was never a vacation where they would not drive by a golf course.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; brothers: James Pameticky and Bill Pameticky; and a grandson Eric Lee Pameticky.

He is survived by one son, Tommy Lee Pameticky and wife Tammy of Ketchum, Oklahoma; one daughter, Terri Lynn Pameticky of Ponca City; one granddaughter, Kristen Parker and husband Shane of Tonkawa; and one great-granddaughter Kaylee Grace Parker of Tonkawa; one sister, Carole Doerner of Edmond, Oklahoma; and family friend and caregiver, Donna Lessert of Ponca City.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Monday, July 20, 2026, at 11:00 AM, at the Roberts and Son Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Sam Simmons officiating. Burial to follow at a later date in the Morrison Cemetery in Morrison, Oklahoma.

A memorial has been established in Terry’s memory with ACG Hospice in Ponca City, c/o Roberts and Son Funeral Home.
