Stephen Pennington of Blackwell, Oklahoma, died Monday afternoon, November 23, 2020, in Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas, at the age of 66 years.

He was born on October 29, 1954 in Blackwell, Oklahoma the son of Harold G. Pennington and Joann Laverne (Stewart) Pennington.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Neil Pennington.

He was the loving father of Kurt (Becky), Adam (Kristi), Brandy (Cesar); beloved grandfather of Elysa, Blake, Kolby, Angela, Alberto, Aubree and Jacob; great-grandfather of Rosalie, Gabriel and Wrenley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends.

Stephen will be remembered fondly by family and friends as a loving father, skilled hunter, and for rescuing and caring for stray animals.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Nardin, Oklahoma.
