Stanley Wood of Blackwell, Oklahoma, went home to his parents on Nov., 14th 2023. He passed away early Tuesday morning, November 14, 2023, in Hillcrest South Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 69 years.

Stanley was born to Fred and Ida (Yager) Wood. He grew up in Blackwell and graduated from Blackwell High School. Stan Joined the United States Army and received a medical discharge. He had three children; Brian, Willie and Amberly. Stan married Linda (Stafford) in December of 1980. They made their home in Blackwell.

Stan loved fishing, hunting, camping and bike riding but his favorite pastime was spending time with his family and grand babies.

Stan is survived by his wife Linda, sons, Brian Wood and wife Shanon of Pawhuska, William Wood and wife Jami of Blackwell and one daughter, Amberly Greenwood and husband Joe of Blackwell; one sister, Linda McDonald of Missouri; 18 grandchildren and their spouses and 37 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Monday, Nov. 20, 2023 at Blackwell Cemetery. Visitation will be held at 10am-12pm at Roberts & Son Funeral Home on Monday prior to the service.
