Rose Smith of Newkirk, Oklahoma, died Saturday morning, December 26, 2020, in the Blackwell Regional Hospital at the age of 85 years.

Rose was born on April 21, 1935, in Blackwell to Edwin Clarence and Elsie (Herman) Moormann. She worked as a hair stylist for many years before her retirement. She married Charlie Farmer and following his death she later married Eddie Smith.

She is survived by her children, Michelle Hall of Newkirk, Sandy Turner Lowell of California, Tink Klotz and Carrie Smith; a brother, Ronnie Moormann of Blackwell; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Gretchen Mills and Mary Lacy; and siblings, Bud, Eldon and David Moormann.
