Loyd and Rose were engaged in a life-long farming operation in Kay and Alfalfa Counties. She worked for her close friends for many years at Jackson's Jewelers of Enid, and co-owned Rosi Lou's Boutique in Blackwell. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Blackwell.
