Robert Albert "Bob" Wolsey of Blackwell, Oklahoma, died Thursday, March 21, 2013, at the Integris Blackwell Regional Hospital in Blackwell, Oklahoma, at the age of 70 years.
Robert Albert "Bob" Wolsey was born on September 29, 1942, in Fort Bisbee, Arizona. He was the son of Earl Anthony and Rose Marie (Hernandez) Wolsey. He grew up in Somerton, Arizona, attending Somerton, Public Schools. Later in life he moved to Ardmore, Oklahoma, to take care of his sister and in 2002 he moved to Blackwell, Oklahoma. He enjoyed being around family and friends and loved to tease and listen to them and help them through life's issues.
Survivors include one sister, Lenore "Snooks" (Wolsey) Blaker and husband Lonnie of Marceline, Missouri; and one sister-in-law, Sharon Wolsey of Odessa, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Earl Anthony "Tony" Wolsey; and one sister, Genevive Rose Davis.
Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 14, 2013, in the Blackwell Museum Club Room.
