Robert George Best of Blackwell, Oklahoma, died Monday morning, October 24, 2016, in the Blackwell Regional Hospital at the age of 66 years.
Robert George Best was born on December 27, 1949, in Stillwater, Oklahoma, to Charles Owen and Alta Lorell (Johnson) Best. He was a member of United States Marines. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working crossword puzzles and tending his vegetable garden.
He is survived by one daughter, Jean Lorell Best of Blackwell; two sons, Bobby Owen Best of Blackwell and Jacob Adam Best of Blackwell; one sister, Charlotte Neufeld and husband Wilbur of Minden, Nevada; one brother, Johnny Best and wife Joyce of Oklahoma City; and two grandchildren, Isaiah Smith and Eli Smith of Blackwell.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Charles Lee Best and Thomas Wayne Best.
A private family service will be scheduled at a later date.
