Red, Wilber Burdette Ritter, was born on March 20, 1966 in Orange, California to Clifford Ritter and Minnie Nugent. Red is survived by two brothers and two sisters of California. He was preceded in death by his sister, Karen Kay Ritter. He also leaves behind his adopted family in Oklahoma which consists of His brother and best friend - Mike Spiva and his sister Ericka of Newkirk, his Nephews and Nieces Dewey & Valerie of Claremore, Mikey, & Kindra of Blackwell, Jacob & Heather of Las Vegas, Nevada, Allen & Faith of Pawnee, Degn and Reba of Blackwell, and Tim & Meagan of Coyle. He also leaves behind 12 Great Nieces and Nephews who all miss him so! He loved playing with the kids, always teasing and making them laugh, fixing their bikes or whatever they broke or needed put together.

Red grew up in Southern California until his early 20's when he moved to Oklahoma with his best friend and brother Mike. He has lived in the Kay County area ever since. Red worked various jobs throughout the years but was especially gifted in automotive, machining and running/driving heavy equipment. He loved riding his motorcycle around Kay county, shooting guns, hunting, fishing, camping, riding dirt bikes, ATV's, and working on cars. He loved building and driving remote control vehicles and model cars. He would design, build, and paint anything he needed for them. He was highly creative and very resourceful!

Red had countless friends. It didn't matter where you went, Red would run into someone he knew and would have a friendly chat. He would help anyone, for any reason, because he loved people and being able to help when he could. If he could not help you, he knew the guy that could and would call them for you. He was genuinely a good hearted man and will be missed dearly by all those who knew him.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 23, 2021 in the Roberts and Son Funeral Home Chapel.
