Phyllis Elizabeth Courtney formerly of Blackwell, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 27, 2013, at the Fountainview Nursing Home, in Rose Hill, Kansas, at the age of 83 years.

Phyllis Elizabeth Courtney was born on February 14, 1930, in Lamont, Oklahoma, to Guy A. and Ethel (Shrubshall) Moses. She was the owner of Phyllis' Realty in Blackwell.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy Lightstone of Beaufront, South Carolina; her son, Everett "Sonny" Moss Jr. and wife Sue of Augusta, Kansas; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Leonard, Clifford and George Moses; and her husbands, Everett Moss Sr., and Max Courtney.

Rosary services are scheduled for Friday, August 30th at 7:00 p.m. in the Roberts and Son Funeral Home Chapel with Father Larok O. Martin officiating.

Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, August 31st at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Larok O. Martin officiating. Burial will be in the Lamont Cemetery.

Casketbearers will be the grandsons of Phyllis Courtney.
