Patricia Louise Knapp formerly of Blackwell, Oklahoma, died early Wednesday morning, September 28, 2011, in the St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 57 years.
Patricia Louise Knapp was born on November 14, 1953, in Everett, Washington, to Zadean Thomas and Lois Illene (Dotter) Hunt. She grew up in Ponca City graduating from Ponca City High School. She furthered her education by attending college for a short time. She married Richard Knapp in 1973 in Ponca City and she served her family as a homemaker. She loved being with her family, especially her three sons and granddaughters. She enjoyed O.U. football, fishing, camping, reading, painting and drinking chocolate milk.
She is survived by her sons, Eric Knapp and wife Samantha of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Adam Knapp and wife Kristin of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Ryan Knapp of Claremore, Oklahoma; her mother, Lois Enix of Ponca City; brothers, Roal Enix and Lowell Enix of Ponca City; sister, Lisa Morin and husband Tony of Ponca City; granddaughters, Mackenna and Emma Knapp of Edmond, Oklahoma; four nephews; and a niece.
She was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Enix.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 3rd in the Roberts and Son Funeral Home Chapel in Blackwell with the Rev. Frank Canaday of Bethel Congregational Church in Edmond officiating. Burial will follow in the Blackwell Cemetery.
