Nile Lynn Gooden was born on August 30, 1953, in Guthrie, Oklahoma. He was the son of Wilman and Wilma Gooden. He lived in Nardin and was a farmer.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by one son, Travis Gooden of Tonkawa; Jacob Gooden , Cole Gooden , Lillian Gooden, Travis Gooden of Blackwell; Mary B Ferrell of Nardin; Amy Hutchison, Rylee Domeny and Beau Domeny of Pawnee; and many other friends and family.
