Munroe Daniel Cloud of Blackwell, Oklahoma, died Wednesday, August 14, 2013, in the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas, at the age of 43 years.

Munroe Daniel Cloud was born on January 20, 1970, in Garland, Texas, to Barney Lee and Freddia Jo (Munroe) Cloud. As a young boy he moved with his family to Tulsa, Oklahoma, before moving to Blackwell where he attended Blackwell Public Schools. Following his education he worked in the oilfields before working in the construction business. He married Tammy Lynn Johnson in 1991 and they made Blackwell their home. He enjoyed noodling, playing pool, cooking out, and his family, especially his children.

He is survived by his mother, Freddia Cloud of Blackwell; a son, Cree Cloud of Blackwell; five daughters, Jennifer, Danielle, Raven, Tiffany and Annie Cloud, all of Blackwell; three sisters, Georgia Lynn McKenzie of Lute, Florida, Shirley Jo Fields of Perry, Oklahoma, and Rae Jean Reese of Monroe, Missouri; four brothers, Bill Munroe of Blackwell, Fred Bentham of Blackwell, Barney Cloud Jr. of Blackwell, and Everett Marian Reese of California; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father; and a sister, Kathy Waters.

Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 17th in the Roberts and Son Funeral Home Chapel in Blackwell with James W. Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Washunga Cemetery in Newkirk, Oklahoma.

A memorial has been established in his name with the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation for diabetes research in c/o Roberts and Son Funeral Home, 120 W. Padon, Blackwell, Oklahoma 74631.
