Michael Eugene Greenfield, 56, of Blackwell, Oklahoma, went home to be with the Lord on March 18, 2010, after a long struggle with cancer. Michael was born December 18, 1953, in Pawnee, Oklahoma. He lived most of his childhood in Blackwell. After graduating from Blackwell High School he enjoyed being a heavy equipment operator and loved the adventures of being a truck driver where he was able to see 48 of the 50 states. He was also an avid race car fan, driver and mechanic. He was married twice, first to Bobbie (Sill) Lucas and then to Brenda Frye. He had three beautiful children whom he loved very much.

He is survived by his mother Erma McBrain of Tulsa, Oklahoma; step-mother, JoAnn Greenfield of Hennessey , Oklahoma; and his three children, T.J. Greenfield of Blackwell, Oklahoma, Hollie Greenfield of Midwest City, Oklahoma and Michael Ross Greenfield of Salisbury, Maryland. He is also survived by four brothers, Ernie Greenfield and wife Elsa of Blackwell, Oklahoma, Larry Greenfield and wife Nancy of Overland Park, Kansas, John McBrain and Charley Greenfield; and two sisters, Christine McBrain of Ponca City, Oklahoma, and Karla Killinger and husband Sean Drake of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Other survivors include an aunt, Neva Rourk of Blackwell, Oklahoma; and many cousins, nieces and nephews who loved him very much.

Michael was preceded in death by his father Cecil Greenfield and step-father John McBrain.

Memorial Service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 27th at Roberts and Son Funeral Home in Blackwell. Officiating will be Chaplin Tom Howard of Hospice of North Central Oklahoma in Ponca City.

Following the services, a celebration gathering of Mike's life will held at the shop, 501 W. Ferguson in Blackwell. In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made is his honor to the American Cancer Society in c/o Roberts and Son Funeral Home, 120 W. Padon, Blackwell, Oklahoma 74631.
