Lt. Mark Louis Haley retired from the Navy Chaplain, went home to Jesus on April 29, 2026 at the age of 64 years old from pancreatic cancer.
Mark was born to Bill and Loy Haley on December 22, 1961 in Odessa, Texas. As a child, Mark liked fishing and Boy Scouts and just one badge away from getting his Eagle.
Mark met Yvonne Jensen (wife), Yvonna Haley in Bremerton Washington at 1989 then they married in 1991 and went on to have 12 children, Mark Jr Haley, Loy Haley, Christian Haley, Joshua Haley, Ben Haley, Hannah Haley, Samuel Haley, Abraham Haley, Noah Haley, Moses Haley, Anna Haley, and Sarah Haley.
In Addition to being a dedicated and loving father, Mark also loved preaching the word of God, camping, fishing, and spending time with his children and loving dog. Throughout his entire life, Mark held an unwavering faith in God, which he shared with those who surrounded him at church and at the Navy Chapel.
Mark joins his mother Loy Haley and father Bill Haley; one brother, Lonnie Haley; and his grandparents, Alma Tedder and Ted Tedder; and one cousin, Heather in heaven.
Mark is survived by his wife, Yvonne Haley; eight sons, Mark Haley Jr and wife Drew Haley, Christian Haley, Joshua Haley, Ben Haley, Samuel Haley, Abraham Haley, Noah Haley, and Moses Haley; four Daughters, Loy Toland and husband Casey, Sarah Haley, and Anna Haley, Hannah Lux and husband Dawson; four grandchildren, Caleb Haley, Chance Haley, Cole Haley, and Leo Lux; Also survived by his brother ,Tommy Haley and wife Carla; and their children Peyton Haley, and Parker Haley, his Aunt, Jean Meek, and husband Dave; and their son, Skyler Cunningham; nephew Chris Haley and wife Deb; and theri children, Logan, and Chase.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Tonkawa, Oklahoma then a burial to follow at the Blackwell Cemetery in Blackwell, Oklahoma.
Casketbearers include Christian Haley, Josh Haley, Moses Haley, Samuel Haley, Noah Haley, Abraham Haley, and Mark Haley, Jr.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mark's honor may be made to the First Baptist Church in Tonkawa.
