Lloyd Lee DeCamp of Blackwell, Oklahoma, died November 4, 2009, at his home in Blackwell at the age of 61 years.
Lloyd Lee DeCamp was born on August 10, 1948, in Blackwell, Oklahoma, to Wilbur Charles and Opal K. (Hales) DeCamp. He grew up in Blackwell attending Blackwell Public Schools. He entered the United States Navy in 1967 serving during the Vietnam War. Following twenty years of service he was discharged on March 31, 1987. After his discharge he lived in Kingsville, Texas, where he lived and worked. He moved to Blackwell in 1993 and worked in the carpet cleaning business. He was a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by his daughter, Lori DeCamp of Flugerville, Texas; a sister, Charlotte Moore of Checotah, Oklahoma; and two brothers, Art DeCamp of Norman, Oklahoma, and Lonnie DeCamp of Lufkin, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 21st in the Blackwell Cemetery with the Rev. Kevin Bookout of the First Free Will Baptist Church in Blackwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Blackwell Cemetery. Military rites will be performed by the Blackwell American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
