Jose Ramirez, resident of Blackwell, passed away on Monday, June 3rd, 2024 unexpectedly. He was 26.

Jose was born on March 24, 1998 to Jose and Louisa Ramirez in Ponca City. He grew up in Jujucato, Michoacán and Blackwell, where he attended school. He had recently began working as a foreman for Tyson Foods, which he greatly enjoyed.

Jose was vibrant and cheerful. He cherished every moment he was able to spend with his family and friends. Tragically, his life was cut short in a car accident that took place while he was with his best friend, Alan Galavis Salas. He will be remembered by his friends and family as fun, spontaneous, helpful and kind. His motto in life was, "Live Every Day Like It Is Your Last." Jose will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his parents Jose and Louisa Ramirez , his siblings Naomi Mora, Poly Mora and Angelica Ramirez, his fiance Taviaunn Turner , his grandmothers Isabell Fuentez and Sagrario Ramirez, his nephews Andrew, Abel, Jordan, Carter and his nieces Julissa, Jayleen and Janalle.

He was preceded in death by grandfathers Victorio Fuentez and Jose Ramirez.

A public viewing will be held on Monday, June 10, 2024 from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. The funeral will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Roberts and Son Funeral Home in Blackwell.
