Jimmie A. Panach of Braman, Oklahoma, died Sunday morning, October 23, 2011, at the age of 64.
Jimmie Allan Panach was born on July 9, 1947, in Blackwell, Oklahoma, to Steven L. Panach and Eva Mae LeValley. He attended Braman Public Schools and graduated with the class of 1965. He furthered his education at Oklahoma State University and graduated in 1970 with a Bachelors of Science in Animal Husbandry. He married Beverly Kay Kirkes in Stillwater, Oklahoma, on August 2, 1970. After college, his first job was working for the ASCS office, now known as the Farm Service Agency, in Stigler, Oklahoma. He then transferred to Bristow, Oklahoma from 1972-1979. He retired from the Farm Service Agency in 1979 to return to Braman to farm with his father. He also started a commercial construction company named J&J Building Services in 1979 and ran it until 1998. Jimmie was a member of the Braman Volunteer Fire Department and retired as the Fire Chief on July 1, 2000. He enjoyed OSU sports, tailgating with friends and family, and was a member of the OSU Alumni Association and the Block and Bridle club. He also enjoyed working outside, and writing short, humorous articles that he shared with his family, to their enjoyment. He supported his children and grand children in all of their activities, which included sports and FFA. He was also a member of and the Braman 4H and FFA Booster Club, as well as the Braman Methodist Church.
Jimmie is survived by his wife, Beverly Kay Panach of Braman, Oklahoma; three daughters, Marti Arnold and husband Jeffery of Blackwell, Oklahoma; Jamie Ronck and husband Patrick of Pond Creek, Oklahoma, Keri Garrison and husband Kevin of Coyle, Oklahoma; two sons, Mathew Panach and wife Macey of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Gregory Panach of Ponca City, Oklahoma; two sisters, Susan Novotny and May Prussa; one brother, John Panach; and three grand children, Katy Ronck, Jake Ronck and Sarah Leffew.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister Patsy Panach; and one brother, Danny Panach.
Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 26, 2011, at the Braman Methodist Church, Braman, Oklahoma, with Rev. C.M. Wilson, Braman Methodist Church, Braman, Oklahoma, officiating. Burial will follow at the Braman Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be Fred LeValley, Ed LeValley, Harold LeValley, Jerry Bradley, Jimmie Hiatt, Derek Boyers and Jerry Frieouf.
