Jimmie Dale Briggs Jr. was born on March 30, 1981, in Woodward, Oklahoma, to Jimmie Dale and Rosalie (Patterson) Briggs Sr. He grew up in Woodward and Buffalo, Oklahoma before moving to Blackwell in 1990. In 1995 he moved to Billings, Oklahoma, where he resided in the Billings Fairchild Center and attended Billings High School graduating in 2000. He participated and enjoyed all the activities at the Fairchild Center including music and crafts. He is survived by his parents, Jim and Rosalie Briggs Sr. of Blackwell; his grandfather, Boyd Briggs of Blackwell; two sisters, Tonya Criner and Shelly Cassady of Ponca City; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dana Briggs and Frank and Dorothy Patterson.

Services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 19, 2007, in the Roberts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kevin Bookout officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery in Nardin, Oklahoma.

Casketbearers will be Jack Bookout, Gene Grace, Larry Laughlin, Richard Moses, John Gard and Connie Chitwood.
