Jessica Elaine Boyle was of Blackwell, Oklahoma, died Monday, April 13, 2009, near Ponca City, Oklahoma, at the age of 20 years.
Jessica Elaine Boyle was born on December 8, 1988, in Phoenix, Arizona, to Troy Donald McVey and Charlotte D'Nette Boyle. She grew up in Blackwell and attended Blackwell Public Schools through her freshman year. She then moved to Grove, Oklahoma, where she attended Grove High School graduating in 2007. She then furthered her education at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College in Miami, Oklahoma, for one year. She then returned to Blackwell and began medical office assistant program at Pioneer Technology Center in Ponca City and was a member of the HOSA group. She was an award winning artist receiving several awards through the years. She also enjoyed drama classes winning a trip to Harvard University. She also enjoyed shopping and was an active member of the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Grove, Oklahoma, where she served as a lecter. Jessica's dream was to be an art curator. She enjoyed being with her friends and her sister, Sarah. She loved life and was an inspiration to her family and friends. She possessed an infectious laugh.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Ronald Dean McVey; and her paternal grandfather, Douglas Boyle.
She was survived by her fiancé, Levi Carter of Blackwell, Oklahoma; her mother, Charlotte Boyle of Anderson, Missouri; her father, Troy McVey of Wichita, Kansas; a brother, Tyler Ross Wimmer of Post, Texas; a sister, Sarah Boyle of Anderson, Missouri; her maternal grandmother, Linda Boyle of Grove, Oklahoma; and her paternal grandmother, Joanna Faught of Idaho; two aunts, Cynthia Lewis of Shidler, Oklahoma, and Tina Marie Herrman of Wichita, Kansas; two uncles, Michael Boyle of Chicago, Illinois, and Todd Allen McVey of Ozark, Missouri; and numerous cousins.
Rosary Services are scheduled for 7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 16, 2009, at the Saint Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Grove, Oklahoma. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 17, 2009, at the Saint Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Grove, with Father Alex Kennedy officiating.
Burial will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 18, 2009, in the Yates Center Cemetery in Yates Center, Kansas, with Father Robert Wachter of Saint Joseph's Catholic Church in Yates Center officiating.
