Jerry R. Humble, a lifelong resident of Blackwell, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2024, at the age of 68.

Born in Blackwell on Aug. 5, 1956, to Edwin and Naomi (Williams) Humble, Jerry was a 1975 graduate of Blackwell High School. He worked as a machinist for CFM until his retirement. Outside of his career, Jerry had a deep passion for restoring and riding motorcycles, mowers, and go-carts.  Known for his friendly demeanor and warm spirit, Jerry never met a stranger. He was quick to strike up a conversation, share a laugh, and offer a helping hand. His generosity, kindness, and unwavering faith left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He was a devoted Christian, a man of integrity, and a loving family member who will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Jerry is survived by his mother, Naomi Humble of Blackwell; his sister, Deborah Paige of Blackwell; his nephew, Chris Williams; his niece, Stephanie Williams, both of Davis, OK; as well as his great-niece, Kara Arrowsmith; and great-nephew Tyler Arrowsmith and great-great-nephew, Noah Arrowsmith.

Jerry's family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the love and support of friends and the community during this difficult time.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 30, at 1:00 pm at the Blackwell cemetery.
