Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Kay Lynne Chambers. He was a proud father to Wyatt Jay Chambers, fiancé Halle Hightower, and Jesse Lee Chambers, fiancé Rose Roberts. He was a devoted grandfather to Sophia LynnMarie Chambers and Baker Sharp, both of whom brought immense joy to his life.

He is also survived by his brother Joe Chambers and his wife Mary Chambers; his brother Stacey Chambers and wife Jaden Chambers; and his sister Sarah Sherron and her husband Jim Sherron. He is further survived by his father Bill Chambers; his mother-in-law Lou Ann Sumpter; his sister-in-law Cynthia Lee; his brother-in-law Randy Lee; and his brother-in-law Rodney Sumpter. Jerry is also lovingly remembered by multiple nieces and nephews.

He leaves behind two young men, Zak Sharp and Gavin McAllester, who were sons to him in every way that mattered.

Born and raised in Oklahoma, Jerry carried those roots with him throughout his life. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1968 to 1974, a time he held with honor and pride.

Jerry loved working with his hands and helping others. The career he loved most was phlebotomy, where his compassion and care for people truly showed. He also found great satisfaction in remodeling, always improving and fixing with pride and determination. His final remodeling project was the renovation of Spray’s in Ponca City, a project he was proud to complete.

In his free time, Jerry enjoyed arrowhead hunting and fishing, finding peace outdoors. His nightly ritual was watching Twilight—a series he loved so much that he and his brother Joe traveled to see the filming locations in person, a memory he treasured deeply. He was also a loyal OSU fan, always cheering them on.

Jerry was known for his funny personality, big heart, and strong work ethic. His greatest joy in life was his family, and everything he did was for them. His love, laughter, and unwavering support will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
