Obituary

Jane Ann Kivett, lifelong resident of Blackwell, Oklahoma, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 10, 2023 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. She was 63 years old.

Jane was born on January 21, 1960 in Blackwell, to Louis and Helen (Hein) Buellesfeld. She grew up in Blackwell where she received her early education. She graduated from Blackwell High School in 1978. She then began working for the City of Blackwell where she met Glenn Ray Terrell. They married soon after on April 6, 1979. In their 39 years of marriage, they were blessed with two daughters, Rebecca and Sara. During this time she worked with the public at many places such as Grave's Drug, Walmart, and Central National Bank. She also spent much of her time as a stay at home mom. Over the years they made many unforgettable memories while taking family vacations, raising their children, and getting together with friends and family. Glenn preceded her in death on March 23, 2018.

She then continued to work as a caregiver for the homebound. On September 18th, 2019, Jane married Kenneth Kivett. Over the next few years, they enjoyed each other's company in their home, attending church services, going out to eat, and traveling to places such as Branson, Kansas, and South Dakota.

Throughout her life, Jane's faith in God guided her way. She was a longtime member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing board games, card games, shopping, traveling, cooking, baking, and listening to music (humming along even when she didn't know the words). She truly cherished filling her home with family, no matter the size of the gathering, she welcomed them all.
Jane will be remembered for her kindness, compassion, and willingness to help others. She will be greatly missed in the lives of many.
