Jacqueline Marie McGarry formerly of Ponca City, Oklahoma, died July 2, 2009, in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the age of 79 years.
Jacqueline Marie McGarry was born on January 7, 1930, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, to John Howard and Susie (Bishop) LaFarell. She grew up in Ponca City attending Ponca City Public Schools. She married Aubrey Kelle and they settled in Braman, Oklahoma, where she served her family as a homemaker. She later married Romain Mossman and they settled in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, before moving to Woodward, Oklahoma. While in Woodward, she owned and operated a floral shop and a gift shop. In 1980 she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she married William McGarry and she continued serving her family as a homemaker as well as operating a gift shop. Her husband preceded her in death and she continued to make Las Vegas her home. She enjoyed cooking, shopping and playing various card games.
She is survived by four sons, Steve Kelle of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Reese Kelle of Las Vegas, Nevada, Tom Mossman of Las Vegas, Nevada, and John Mossman of Lawndale, California; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 11th in the Caldwell Cemetery in Caldwell, Kansas, with the Rev. Jan McDaniel of the Caldwell Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in the Caldwell Cemetery.
