Izetta Tolle of Blackwell, Oklahoma, died Saturday, morning February 2, 2013, at the Blackwell Regional Hospital in Blackwell at the age of 91 years.

Izetta Tolle was born on September 16, 1921, on a farm in Grant County, Oklahoma, to H.O. and Lela B. (Ballard) Snouffer. She grew up in the Deer Creek area attending Deer Creek Public Schools and graduated from Deer Creek High School. She furthered her education at the Northern Oklahoma Junior College in Tonkawa. She married Charlie Tolle on July 23, 1941, in Wakita, Oklahoma, and they settled in the Nardin Community until they bought the Grant County farm where she was born. Izetta worked beside Charlie on the farm and together they raised their sons, Tommy John and Terry Lynn. She was an excellent seamstress, homemaker and she sang in the church choir. Following retirement, they moved to Blackwell to make their home. After fifty three years together, Charlie preceded her in death on January 27, 1994, and she continued to make Blackwell her home. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Blackwell and the Sweet Adelines. She served as a volunteer at the Blackwell Regional Hospital, played golf and enjoyed traveling and playing bridge.

She is survived by two sons, Tom Tolle and wife Julene of Blackwell, and Terry Tolle and wife Sarah of Waynesville, North Carolina; a brother, Tom Snouffer and wife Donna of Idaho Falls, Idaho; four grandchildren, Chuck Tolle and wife Francie, Chad Tolle and wife Jina, Troy Tolle and wife Laura, and Tara Jordan and husband Jonathan; two step grandsons, Eric Davis and wife Briana, and Chris Davis and wife Angela; nine great-grandchildren, Clint Tolle, Cole Tolle, Payton Tolle, Charlie Tolle, Chase Tolle, Gage Tolle, Pherson Jordan, Nash Jordan, and Kayda Jordan; eight step-grandchildren, Braden Davis, Brant Davis, Brinn Davis, Brilen Davis, Malerie Davis, Mackenzie Davis, Megan Davis, and Matthew Davis; and many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Mike Snouffer; a sister-in-law, Ann Snouffer; a daughter-in-law, Glenda Tolle; and a grandson, David Tolle.

Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 6th in the Roberts and Son Funeral Home Chapel with D.W. Boyd officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery in Nardin.

Casketbearers will be Chuck Tolle, Chad Tolle, Clint Tolle, Cole Tolle, Eric Davis, and Chris Davis.
