Ila Mae Bratcher, 87, of Arvada, Colorado passed away August 7, 2025.

Ila was born August 25, 1937 to CE and Lora (Schug) Bratcher. Having been raised in the Blackwell area, she graduated from Blackwell High School with the class of 1955. She later attended Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa, Oklahoma, where she received her Associates Degree; earned her Bachelor's from Southwestern College, in Winfield, Kansas; and earned her Masters Degree from the University of Northern Colorado, in Greeley, Colorado.

She has resided for many years in Arvada, Colorado, having taught for fifty one years at Secrest Elementary School in Arvada & Jefferson County.

Ila will be privately laid to rest in the Tonkawa, Oklahoma, in the IOOF Cemetery.
