Harold George Bolton of Blackwell, Oklahoma, died Wednesday, February 13, 2013, in the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas, at the age of 66 years.

Harold George Bolton was born on August 26, 1946, in Des Moines, Iowa, to George David and Edith Faye (Harman) Bolton. At the age of ten he moved to California and returned to Iowa at the age of sixteen to help support family by working at a car dealership. At age eighteen he entered the United States Navy and served as a fireman during the Vietnam Conflict. Following his discharge, he returned to Fresno, California, and began working in the construction business. He married Wilma Ilene Tyler on June 18, 1980, in Fresno and following their marriage he began working as a diesel mechanic for Ryder Trucks. In 1993 they moved to Blackwell to make their home. He was a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. In 2010 he established the Vintage Hardtops Club of California. He enjoyed computer graphics and art.

He is survived by his wife, Wilma Bolton of Blackwell; three daughters, Shari Braden of California, Mary Henriksen of Ponca City, and Patricia Corn of Blackwell; three sons, Dewayne Braden of California, Chuck Simpson of California, and Brad Simpson of Blackwell; a sister, Marilyn Gregg of Denver, Colorado; fourteen grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 18th in the Roberts and Son Funeral Home Chapel in Blackwell with James W. Roberts officiating.
