Hailey Brea Poindexter of Ponca City, Oklahoma, passed away on June 14, 2023, at her home at the age of 16 years.

Hailey Brea Poindexter was born on December 20, 2006, in Ponca City to Jeremy Scott Poindexter and Renee Lyn Barnett. She grew up Ponca City, Tonkawa, and Tipp City, Ohio, before returning to Ponca City where she attended Epic Charter School. As a junior in high school, she was currently enrolled in various college courses.

She loved artwork to the extreme and enjoyed binge watching various television series. She also enjoyed her hip-hop, pop and rock music and just recently added Luke Combs to her music list.

She is survived by her father, Jeremy Poindexter of Ponca City; her mother, Renee Barnett of Ohio; siblings, Heidi Poindexter, Ceirra Poindexter, Hannah Cope all of Ponca City, Victoria Presnal of Guthrie and Rachel Brown and husband Blake and children, Corbin and Layna all of Ponca City and Jeremiah Poindexter of Nashville, Tennessee, Zechariah Poindexter of Stillwater, Oklahoma, and Derek Ceddia of Sandusky, Ohio; grandmothers, Pamela Poindexter of Ponca City and Linda Barnett of Tiffin, Ohio; and great grandmothers, LaVone Crouse of Enid, and great grandmother Miller of Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Kendall Poindexter and Leroy Barnett.

A graveside memorial service is scheduled for 9:30 a.m., Thursday, June 22nd in the Blackwell Cemetery.
