On Thursday, February 1, 2024 Elnora Jean Day (Ellie) went to be with the Lord. Her loss is hanging heavy on our hearts. She was born on January 29, 1939, in Colcord, Oklahoma, to Woodrow and Ethel Beck. She attended Blackwell Public Schools. She married Robert "Sonny" Dunlap in 1960 in Nowata, Oklahoma. She later married  Kenneth Day in 1979 in Newkirk, Oklahoma. She leaves behind her 3 children - Carla, Bobby Dunlap, and James Hurst along with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A private family service will be held and burial will be in the Blackwell Cemetery.
