Donna Jean Martin formerly of Blackwell, Oklahoma, died on February 15, 2012, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 51 years.

Donna Jean Martin was born in Dallas, Texas. She was the daughter of Burn L. Martin Jr. and Billie (Parker) Martin. She grew up in Dallas, Texas and in Tulsa, Oklahoma, attending Tulsa Public Schools. In 1978 she married Rusty Wright and they made their home in Toledo, Ohio, they had three children, Christina, Nicholas, and Christopher. She and her family moved to Blackwell to be by her mother and later she moved to Oklahoma City. She enjoyed listening to music, dancing, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her mother, Billie Martin of Blackwell, Oklahoma; one daughter, Christina Wright of Missouri; two sons, Nicolas Wright of Toledo, Ohio, and Christopher Wright of Sandusky, Ohio; one sister, Sheri Kindrick of Texas; one brother, James Martin of Blackwell, Oklahoma; and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Memorial services are scheduled for Tuesday, February 21, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at the home of Billie Martin 1017 South 8th Street, with Rev. Pam Cottrill of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow at a later date at the Blackwell Cemetery.

A memorial has been established with the Oklahoma Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault in c/o Roberts and Son Funeral Home.
