Charles Garland "Chuck" Clark of Blackwell, Oklahoma, died early Monday morning, March 12, 2012, in the Blackwell Regional Hospital at the age of 52 years.

Charles Garland "Chuck" Clark was born on July 28, 1959, in El Paso, Texas, to Bonnie Garland and Isabel (Aguilar) Clark. As a young boy he moved with his family to Sallisaw, Oklahoma, where he attended elementary school. In 1971 they moved to Ponca City where he attended East Junior High and Ponca City High School graduating in 1977. Following his education he worked for Anson Plumbing Company in Ponca City before working for Don Bouldin Constuction and McDonald Electric both in Ponca City. He married Cynthia Jo Rogers on January 11, 1986, in Blackwell and they made Blackwell their home. Following their marriage he began working for McNitt Construction before his retirement. He was a member of the Ambucs in Ponca City. He enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing, playing pool and shooting trap.

He is survived by his wife Cindy Rogers of Blackwell; his mother, Betty Fairchild of Blackwell; a daughter, Brandi Clark of Yukon, Oklahoma; a son, Sean Clark of Blackwell; a brother, Bob Clark of Blackwell; his father-in-law, Dolton Rogers of Blackwell; his brother-in-law, Russell Rogers of Blackwell; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Bonnie and Josephine Clark Sr. and Refugio and Ramona Aguilar; and his mother-in-law, Esther Rogers.

A memorial service is set for 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 16th in the Roberts and Son Funeral Home Chapel in Blackwell.

Honorary casketbearers will be Tom Ware, Tom Donaldson, Larry McChristian, Danny Bathurst, Travis McBrain, Paris Robertson, Dylyn McEachern, Ron Conrad, Austin Cantillon, Tyler Wright, Colton Dell and Jim Strome.
