Willetta Charlene Dollarhide of Braman, Oklahoma, died Wednesday afternoon, September 11, 2013, in the Willow Haven Nursing Center in Tonkawa, Oklahoma, at the age of 73 years.
Willetta Charlene Dollarhide was born on March 15, 1940, in Arkansas City, Kansas, to Glenn William and Edith Marie (Dowler) Lines. She grew up in Newkirk, Oklahoma, and attended Newkirk Public Schools. She married Don M. Dollarhide on January 21, 1956, in Shidler, Oklahoma, and they settled in Kaw City where she served her family as a homemaker. In the early 1960's they moved to Blackwell to make their home before moving to Tonkawa in 1966. While in Tonkawa she worked for Wetmore's Farm Tools and later at Willow Haven Nursing Center where she retired in 1994. In 1998 they moved to Braman. She attended the First Baptist Church in Shidler and enjoyed playing computer games, deer hunting, fishing, playing bingo and visiting casinos.
She is survived by her husband, Don Dollarhide of Braman; a daughter, Donna Dollarhide-Blacketer of Quebec, Canada; two sons, Jacob Dollarhide of Medford and Douglas Dollarhide of Edmond; three sisters, Roberta Barry of Kildare, Mary Black of Texas, and Cleta Garcia of Kansas; eleven grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Melvin Lines.
Following cremation there are no services planned.
