Caroline Diane Turner of Stillwater, Oklahoma, died Monday morning, January 5, 2008, at her home in Stillwater at the age of 52 years.
Caroline Diane Turner was born on October 20, 1956, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Bud and Emma Lou (Pitner) Pearman. As a small girl she moved with her family to Kay County and grew up and attended schools in Nardin, Oklahoma. On July 17, 1970, she married Dwayne Lyle Turner in Deer Creek, Oklahoma, and they settled in Lamont, Oklahoma, where she served her family as a homemaker. They made Lamont their home for nineteen years before moving to Stillwater. She was a member of the Fellowship Free Will Baptist Church in Stillwater. Caroline was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband, Dwayne Turner of Stillwater, Oklahoma; two sons, Jeromy "Duffy" Turner of Brandon, Mississippi, and Joshua Turner of Stillwater, Oklahoma; two daughters, Shantel Johns of Blackwell, Oklahoma, and Andrea Hisey of Edmond, Oklahoma; her father, Bud Pearman of Jones, Oklahoma; two brothers, David Pearman and Bud Pearman Jr. both of Jones, Oklahoma; two sisters, Christine Hinman of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Kathy McGee of Bellevue, Nebraska; and six grandchildren, Jayten, Malia and Myles Johns of Blackwell, Oklahoma, Emma and Ally Turner of Brandon, Mississippi, and Caroline Hisey of Edmond, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Emma Pearman; a brother, Oscar Pearman; and a sister, Ginger Gail Pearman.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 7th in the Roberts and Son Funeral Home Chapel in Blackwell with the Rev. Dale Doss of the Fellowship Free Will Baptist Church in Stillwater officiating. A private family burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery in Nardin, Oklahoma.
Casketbearers will be Jeromy "Duffy" Turner, Joshua Dwight Turner, Joshua Daniel Johns, Jeremy Wade Hisey, Shane Wade Lambert and Jimmy Dale "Dink" Hinman.
A memorial has been established with the Judith Karman Hospice in Stillwater in c/o Roberts and Son Funeral Home.
The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, January 6th, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
