Obituary

Karl Lee Wunderlich of Blackwell, Oklahoma, died Sunday morning, September 26, 2010, in the Blackwell Regional Hospital at the age of 74 years.

Karl Lee Wunderlich was born on August 1, 1936, in Tonkawa, Oklahoma, to Gale and Nola Bernice (Adkins) Wunderlich. He grew up in Blackwell attending Blackwell Public Schools. Following his education he moved to Ft. Supply to make his home. He later returned to Blackwell at worked at various jobs in the community. He also served as a preacher at various services in the area. He was a member of the House of Prayer. He enjoyed riding his bicycle, reading his Bible and listening to music.

He is survived by two brothers, Larry Wunderlich of Blackwell, Oklahoma, and Donald Wunderlich of Lexington, North Carolina.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Ronald Wunderlich and Eugene Wunderlich.

Graveside services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Friday, October 1st in the Blackwell Cemetery with the Rev. Matt Smith of Immanuel Baptist Church in Blackwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Blackwell Cemetery.

Serving as honorary casketbearers will be Charles Ray, Ted Ellis, Darrell Ellis, Larry Jones, Wes Childers, Lindsey Autry, Charlie Terrill, Glenn Terrill, Larry Wunderlich and Donald Wunderlich.

A memorial has been established with the Immanuel Baptist Church Building Fund in c/o Roberts and Son Funeral Home, 120 W. Padon, Blackwell, Oklahoma 74631.
