Brian Lee Dollarhide of Blackwell, Oklahoma, died March 1, 2011, in Perry, Oklahoma, at the age of 30 years.

Brian Lee Dollarhide was born on May 1, 1980, in Blackwell, Oklahoma, to Bobby Joe and Kathern Louise (Baldwin) Dollarhide. He grew up in Blackwell attending Blackwell Public Schools graduating from Blackwell High School in 1998. He then furthered his education by attending Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa for two years. Following his education he began laying optic fiber communication lines in Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas. In 2002 he moved to New York to be near his sister and began working for Storm King Construction as a mason. He married Kira Sarros on October 10, 2002, and they settled in New York where he began his own masonry and tile business. In 2006 they moved to Hickory, North Carolina, and he continued to operate his own business. In 2010 he returned to Blackwell to be near and help take care of his family. He enjoyed snowboarding, basketball, physical training, reading his Bible and loving his family.

He is survived by his wife, Kira Dollarhide of Napanoch, New York; his parents, Bobby Dollarhide of Blackwell and Kathern Dollorhide of Newkirk, Oklahoma; his grandmother, Bernice Dollarhide of Tonkawa, Oklahoma; a sister, Michelle Brecheisen of Pine Bush, New York; three brothers, Bobby Dollarhide of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Chad Dollarhide of Blackwell, and James Dollarhide of Blackwell; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph Dollarhide and Pete and Elizabeth Baldwin.

Memorial services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 7th in the Roberts and Son Funeral Home Chapel in Blackwell with Phil Sims of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness officiating.
