Bernice Ann Pappan of Blackwell, Oklahoma, passed away on February 10, 2026, in Blackwell at the age of 68 years.
Bernice Ann Pappan was born on October 20, 1957, in Shidler, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Ike & Nancy (Myers) Wilson. Bernice grew up in Ponca City, Oklahoma, attending Ponca City Public Schools, and graduated from Ponca City High School in 1975. On August 11, 1975, she married Dennis Reid, and they made their home in Blackwell. She later attended Northern Oklahoma College, receiving her Associates in Business. She later moved to Newkirk, Oklahoma, where she began working for the Kaw Nation Housing Authority. She married Larry Joe Pappan in 1989, and they later moved to Ponca City. She enjoyed singing, going to the casino, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Bernice was preceded in death by her parents; her great-grandparents, John and Juanita Myers; one brother, Roy Dean Wilson; and one grandson, Trey Webster.
She is survived by two daughters, Darci Wickham and husband Shane of Blackwell, and Daphne Moulton of Blackwell; one son, Dustin Reid of Ponca City; and her seventeen grandchildren: Alissander, Matteo, Journey, Jaxson, Kylee, Chelsea, Maci, Lexi, Paityn, Lakyn, & five additional grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, Giovanni and Ella; one sister, Clara Wilson; and one brother, Clay Wilson.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, February 16, 2026, in the Roberts and Son Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Sam Simmons will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her honor may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation (OMRF), c/o Roberts and Son Funeral Home.
