Anthony Deion Looper of Blackwell, Oklahoma, died early Thursday morning, December 2, 2010, in the Blackwell Regional Hospital at the age of 36 years.
Anthony Deion Looper was born on October 11, 1974, in Blackwell, Oklahoma, to Anthony Paul and Veronica Lynn (Paschal) Looper. He grew up in Blackwell attending Blackwell Public Schools. Following his education he worked at various jobs in the oilfield and construction industry. He enjoyed fishing and outdoor activities.
He is survived by his father, Tony Looper of Blackwell, Oklahoma; his mother, Veronica Looper of Birch Tree, Missouri; his step-mother, Lisa Urban of Tonkawa, Oklahoma; his grandparents, King and Opal Cloud of Arkansas City, Kansas, and Bob and Glenda Gardner of Ponca City, Oklahoma; his companion, Amy Oliver of Blackwell, Oklahoma; three sisters, Sybil Dawn Sheets of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Opal Oranchak of Newkirk, Oklahoma, and Shyla Urban of Tonkawa, Oklahoma; and eight brothers, James Cloud of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Russell Looper of Blackwell, Oklahoma, Rodney Looper of Blackwell, Oklahoma, Joe Looper of Braman, Oklahoma, Jarad Looper of Blackwell, Oklahoma, Lucius Holloman of Blackwell, Oklahoma, Christopher Urban of Tonkawa, Oklahoma, and Isac Urban of Tonkawa, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; and a sister, Nannie Kathryn Looper.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 6th in the Roberts and Son Funeral Home Chapel in Blackwell. Cremation will occur following the service.
