So sorry to hear of Joyce's passing. I can't think of music at Blackwell 1st Baptist without thinking of Joyce. I was privileged to sing in the choir under her direction for several years. She was a wonderful lady and touched many lives. Those of us in this world were blessed with her music for years and now heaven is blessed.

Gene and family,
My children and I are saddened by the loss of Joyce. She was a wonderful lady who gave so much time to my children and taught them to love music. She was loving and tough and so kind and we will miss her greatly. We are forever in her debt for all she gave to us. May God Bless you all.

Thanking of you and praying for you at this time. I remember her directing the Choir and music at Blackwell 1st Baptist Church for a number of years when I was a child and youth.

So sorry for you loss. You and Joyce made our family feel so welcomed when we moved to Blackwell. What a great lady that loved the Lord. I always enjoyed talking with her as she would lift my spirits.
